Saturday sauna trip - From the nature trail to the bonfires
The Kinkamo area has been called Keuruu Lapland because of its warm atmosphere and beautiful nature. Before taking a bath or a shower, you can relax on the nearby nature trail, and for the little ones there's a few hundred metres of elf trail. From the sauna you can take a dip in Lake Poskijärvi or, in winter, in the refreshing open water.
General instructions:
You can book a smoke sauna shift for the third Saturday of the month from 16-20, subject to change. You can easily get to Kinkamon pirtti either by car or by bicycle. When you arrive, we will welcome you and guide you to the changing rooms. At the sauna we will go over the most important practical matters and safety instructions, and tell you about the history of the sauna.
Please bring your own bathrobe, towel, swimsuit and footwear. You can also rent a towel. Sauna hats and tablecloths are available at the sauna. Fresh water is also available in the sauna room, which you should drink while you are in the sauna.
Additional services and accommodation
The price of the sauna trip includes access to the 2.5 km nature trail and the children's elf trail. Sauna-goers can also use the home and the Kinkamo lodge. Beach activities such as a boat, canoe, funnel board or fishing rod can be hired during the summer for an additional fee.
Kinkamo also offers accommodation in log cabins made by the hosts from trees in their own forest. Accommodation must be booked separately before arrival
The sauna can also be hired for private use by groups.
You can choose either a time for your sauna shift starting at 16.00 or 18.00, or a full four-hour shift, which gives you time to enjoy the sauna experience at your leisure.
A two-hour shift can accommodate up to 15 people at a time, and reserved seats reduce the number of seats available. If you would like to book for a larger group, please contact Kinkamon Pirtti in good time. Priority will be given to those who have booked online.
See you in the sauna!
